Here's how I used the Mustaches die:

Father's Day

I made a Father's Day card and treat jar. First, I started with a simple card. I die-cut the Mustaches dies out of new Treasure Map papers. They make me chuckle. :) The stamp is from the Daddy Yo stamp set, which will be released in May.

Here's a close-up:

Father's Day

I used the dies for a treat container, too:

Mustaches

I layered the Treasure Map papers and on the map paper, I stamped the "DAD" sentiment from the Daddy Yo set. For the top, I added some photo prop mustaches. My kids are going to go nuts with these! They were already playing with some of the leftover die cuts. My daughter is having a detective party in a few weeks, and she's already asked me to make some mustaches for the party to use for mug shots. ;)

On the rosettes, I used the Pinked Circles dies. Here's a close-up:

Thanks for stopping by! Next up is my sweet and very talented friend Kalyn!

Light It Up Blue for Autism Awareness

Hi all! Happy World Autism Awareness Day! I'm participating in a special blog hop:

If you're hopping along, you should be coming from Scrap Addict's blog.

Veronica and Tenia organized this hop, and I'm honored to attend! In addition to all of the awesome cards that are in the hop, there are also fantastic sponsors who have shown their support for Autism awareness. You can see the complete list of participants and sponsors on Veronica's blog.

I don't talk much about my job on the blog, but I work as a consultant in special education. This hop has a lot of meaning to me!

Anyhoo, here's my blue card:

Moon and Back

I was inspired by Julie Ebersole, and in fact, bought this Savvy Stamps die because THIS card (she's such a covert enabler--ha ha). I watercolored the moon with Blue Slushie Maya Mist. I had the idea to use the leftover alphas to make a loose trail. It's kind of weird, but I like it. ;)

Here's a close-up of the moon:

To the Moon and Back

The die-cut vellum stars are from Paper Smooches' Stars dies. I added some white and gold splatter to the base. The card looked a little naked at the bottom, so I dip-dyed the cardstock using the same spray mist.

I've been playing around with my photos, and here's a different angle. Any comments on which picture is better?

Moon and Back

If you get a chance to link up your blue project, you can do so at Veronica's blog. She also has the list of sponsors. The winners of the giveaways will be drawn from the comments, and the more comments you leave on the participants' blogs, the greater your chances to win!

Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

Bejeweled Card Set

Hi everyone!

Butterfly Card Set

I'm on the Altenew blog today with a card set using the Bejeweled stamp set. I did some simple layering (using items that were within reach of my desk) and kept the same design to coordinate the set. I used some older Notes & Things chipboard frames from Crate Paper.

Here's a close-up of one of the cards:

To see the rest of the set (in different colors and frames), swing by the Altenew blog. Thanks!!

Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
